Deertrees Needs a new ROOF! Please help if you CAN...
5/2/2023
Hello Deertrees Lovers. We hope that everyone made it through the heavy rains recently. Unfortunately, the rains have given way to worsening leaks on the top portion of our roof that shelters our stage lighting as well as our Art Gallery. We replaced the roof over the audience section of the theatre last fall at the expense of 33K. We knew there were still some issues to be addressed on the upper roof section, but this storm proved that we need to move on this repair now rather than wait until fall. If any of YOU can possibly help us with a donation toward this, we would be forever grateful. As you know, we not only run Maine's Most Enchanting Playhouse and bring you a wonderful summer of fun and memories, but we also maintain the all-wood structure, built in 1936, that so many love and cherish in Harrison Maine. It is a challenge every year, but when it's something like a needed roof repair (once every 30 years) - that is especially hard as we enter the start of our 87th season, and are still recovering from the pandemic closures. If YOU can help, we are asking you to please donate to Deertrees now, so we can make this happen right away. We already have one extremely generous patron who has pledged 10k to help us. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please use this link or scan the code on your smartphone to donate. https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=NSLUDDQE5BWLY
We thank you and hope to see you at Deertrees this summer. The Donor/Sponsor party will be held on Saturday July 15th, please come and enjoy! All mu Best. Gail Phaneuf ~ Executive and Artistic Director since 2020.
