Director’s Note – “When I first pitched this idea some years ago, my only thought was that it might be interesting to see the faeries as aliens. As it turns out, A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s most difficult plays; while on the surface it appears as a simple fantasy, the complexity of its language and moral ambiguity of its characters offer a rich canvas on which to paint. The cast of this production have taken to this material with gusto, and I cannot be prouder of the work that they have put in over these last several weeks. I hope you enjoy it.”
Sean F
Oberon/Theseus
Sean does theater, he has always done theater; he will always do theater. Sometimes his theater is not in real time, but then it's less fun... Many thanks to Robbie and Hal for inviting me into this party, it's been a dream - or not, I'm not really sure... I need to read the script again. FMI see www.farrelly.nyc

Hal’s most recent theater credit was in 2013 with Bayou City Theatrics in Houston Texas, where he “appeared” as the voice for an animatronic puppet of Kerchek in a production of Tarzan the Musical: Abridged (For Children). It has been a long 10 year absence from the stage and Hal is incredibly grateful and excited to pick up where he left off with this inspired little piece of theater. The cast and crew of this production of MSND have inspired, surprised, and delighted him at every turn and eagerly awaits the reaction of our audience to this wild and crazy play. Particular and emphatic thanks to co-creator and co-dreamer Rob Faucher. Making theater is much easier when you are doing it with one of your best friends.

Sean B
Demetrius
Sean is so excited to be on the stage at Deertrees for the second time this season. You may recognize him from his time spent in Dave's Sauna. Otherwheres you may recognize him as that benign spirit stalking through the lake Region woods, silently ambling through glen and thicket. Those wise to his aimless ramblings are known to leave offerings of dried meat and legal tender, typically lodged in a well marked stump or bent tree. He also takes debit and credit on request.
